The European Burmese cat is an elegant, but not a fragile cat. They have the right configuration, moderately sized musculature and talking eyes. Because the European Burmese is very intelligent, affectionate and loyal, it makes them excellent pets. In North America, the European Burmese and the Burmese cat originated from the same breed, the Yellow Cat, who was introduced to the Western world in 1930 by Dr. Thompson, an authority on Burmese cats. Since the yellow cat was her preferred type, she had to link it to the only other example of a similar breed in order to gain acceptance. The most obvious choice was the Siamese cat. It led him to have to point out that he had bred cats with fixed genes and to point out the fixed color gene. This entity was selected as the breed for further dissemination. The spread of the breed from the United States to the east, in England, led to the same lack of Siamese cat genes. Since then, the development of the breed has taken different routes and until today we have two very different cats, both different standards sharing a common ancestor. The most obvious difference is that there is this data that shows that the color gene is stable in the European Burmese. The red gene is an additional color, and the gene may have been introduced intentionally or accidentally. In England, Siamese cats come in a variety of colors, including red point, so the introduction of this gene allows for four colors (brown, chocolate, blue and mauve) and the breeding of a variety of colors, including red, cream, brown, tortoiseshell, chocolatetortie, blue tortoiseshell and lilac tortoiseshell, making a difference between the two Burmese cat breeds. The European Burmese is an elegant, gentle cat with a rounded profile, while the Burmese has a compact, rounded appearance. The shape of the eyes also differs between the two breeds. The European Burmese cat's topline is slightly curved and slanted toward the nose and eyes. The Burmese cat's eyes should have a rounded aperture. The two Burmese breeds are identical in temperament and nature. The European Burmese cat is elegant but not easily harmed, has a medium build with a balanced bone structure, is muscular, and possesses deep eyes and a sweet expression. They are very intelligent, gentle, affectionate and loyal, which makes them a different kind of pet. They love humans and make wonderful companion pets and get along well with other animals. The European Burmese cat is very similar to the Burmese cat in that it is outgoing and has an inexhaustible amount of energy. It is very friendly with children and is not timid or afraid. If you are an outgoing and energetic owner, you may want to consider the European Burmese cat.
The European Burmese is a particularly outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic cat with an independent and fearless personality. It is a good conversationalist, but its voice is not as hoarse as that of the Siamese cat (details). The Burmese cat is a good leader of other cats. It is sociable, likes company and hates to be alone. This tireless cat is a great playmate for children. They will happily serve as the only pet in your life, and they make wonderful companions for those who love them.
Not only are European Burmese cats great playmates with their owners and children, they are also very friendly with other animals, so don't worry if you have other pets in your home that they won't get along!
