Originally from England, it is a tall, coat-ridden hound. He has an extreme sense of smell, is curious about scents, and has an amiable and calm personality. His magnificent head shows great strength and unparalleled majesty, and his sturdy body and large stride allow him to work long hours. The body is slightly rectangular, with the distance from the union of the shoulder blades and the upper arms to the hips, slightly greater than the height of the shoulders. The Onda Hound has a very good physique, with strong bones and muscular legs, but without appearing rough. A balanced, accurate, yet typical structure is more important than size. The coat is also one of the essential characteristics of the Aoudad Hound. The texture and quality of the coat is more important than the length. The outer coat is thick, coarse, straggly, curly, and has an irregular undulating appearance. The softness of the hair on the head and lower part of the legs is natural. The length of the outer coat on the back is about 2 to 4 inches, and the hair on the limbs is slightly shorter. The waterproof undercoat is short, woolly, and slightly oily (a basic characteristic), but in summer, hardening of the undercoat can be found on all parts except the thighs and shoulders. The ears are covered with hair and the tail has trimmed hairs (covered hairs and marginal hairs). A natural flaking of the coat and lack of length and "bangs" is normal for the Aoudad Hound at work. A proper hound coat should have a stiff outer coat and a woolly undercoat. The Aoudad Hound should have a natural coat that is not trimmed or sculpted. Possibly descended from the Detective Hound, they may be a cross between the large old Foxhound and the French Long Curly Hound. Different British hounds perform different hunting activities, such as foxhounds, rabbit hounds and detective hounds for boar hunting. The otter hound, on the other hand, is used to chase otters into its den in cold water. Nowadays, otters are not considered to be harmful animals. As a result, the Otterhound has lost its original function. Fortunately, they have exciting new jobs again and are willing to become human companions, they can get along well with children and with other animals, but this breed is often stubborn, especially when they see water.
The Auda Hound has an extreme sense of smell, is curious about scents, has an amiable personality, is partial to noisy dogs, and they are optimistic that they will never bite. Can get along well with children.
