The English Bulldog, which originated in the British Isles in the 13th century, is a loyal, courageous, energetic and bold medium-sized dog. So in the old days he was often used to play the game of "bull baiting". However, this sport became illegal in England, and the English Bulldog became less and less valuable.
The English Bulldog's ancestors are said to be Mastiff Mastiffs and Bull Ridgebacks. After learning that the English Bulldog was becoming less and less valuable, and even threatened with extinction, some dog breeders, disappointed to see the end of the breed, did not hesitate to take on the responsibility of saving the breed by preserving some of its good qualities, eliminating its unpopular traits, retaining and strengthening some of its good qualities, and breeding to bring about satisfactory results.
The pit bull we see today is a breed that has been preserved through the efforts of many people, and we should and are thankful for that, because of their efforts to keep such an excellent breed. The English bulldog may look fierce, but he is a gentle, kind and affectionate dog by nature, a rare watchdog that is friendly to its partners and especially kind to children.
Generally speaking, the male English fighting dog weighs 50 pounds and the female weighs about 40 pounds. The eyes are located far from the ears and are quite round, medium sized, neither sunken nor protruding, dark in color, with the eyelids completely covering the whites of the eyes when looking forward, and the "transept" is completely invisible. The ears are quite high on the head and are small and thin, resembling a rose in shape.
The head is very large, with a circumference at least as long as the shoulder height. From the side, its head appears to be quite high. Its cheeks are round and protrude to the sides beyond the eyes. The nasal mirror is large and wide, black, with the tip of the nose leaning back and located deeply between the eyes. The nostrils are wide black with a clear midline in the middle. The upper lip is thick, wide, drooping, and very deep, hanging completely over the sides of the lower jaw When the mouth is closed, the teeth are largely invisible.
The teeth are large and strong, with a fairly wide spacing between the teeth, a short and thick neck, a wide and full body, a short and strong back, muscular forelimbs, and hindlimbs slightly longer than the forelimbs. Tail straight or "spiral" very short, low hanging
The coat is straight, short, flat, tight, fine texture, smooth and shiny, the skin is soft and loose, the head is especially obvious. The colors are red tiger spots, pure white, pure red, camel or light brown, and mottled color.
The English doodle looks playful and fierce on the outside, but it is a very kind breed that is always affectionate and friendly to people. The English bucket looks silly and honest, and that is exactly what it is, a very loyal breed. It was called the national dog in England, and even though bullfighting was later banned, it was still very popular. It is still the preferred choice of some dog lovers today.
The English doodle has a quirky and cute appearance, walks with a gentlemanly demeanor, is calm, does not bark, and treats others with kindness, while being generous and brave with majesty.
It is suitable for families with a spacious environment.
